If you're ready to thrive in such an environment, read on! The Mission The Leidos team plays a vital role in the Service, Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) program. Our focus includes core areas such as cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk support, and data transport, ultimately enhancing naval capabilities for Sailors, Marines, and the civilian workforce. Your Main Objectives Assist the Government Lead in daily engineering activities related to systems and perform general administration for Local Area Networks (LAN), Base Area Networks (BAN), and Wide Area Networks (WAN). Evaluate and design communication hardware and software, troubleshoot network-related issues in LAN/BAN/WAN environments. Develop and integrate identity and access management requirements effectively. Support the engineering and design of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services, including the integration of new and existing VoIP servers and necessary equipment to enhance service desk operations. Design VoIP services with Layer 3 switching capability and updated Tactical Local Area Network Encryption (TACLANE) configurations to facilitate Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP). Perform configuration design for auxiliary voice Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) and support necessary interfaces for the voice system. Manage necessary hardware and software for videoconferencing across Department of Navy (DON), Department of Defense (DoD), and various other networks. Implement Rights Management Services for users and administrators. Design, develop, and operate application networking ports and protocols, ensuring Information Assurance (IA) compliance. Develop customized multivendor solutions utilizing technologies from Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, and others. Maintain, track, and improve Internet Protocol (IP) scheme and address management. What Sets You Apart Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience. 7-10 years of experience in a related field. Active Secret Clearance. Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III certification. Preferred Qualifications Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification. Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) certification. Fortinet Certified Network Security Professional (FCNSP) certification. Juniper Networks Certified Specialist Security (JNCIP-SEC) certification. Certified Modeling & Simulation Professional (CMSP) certification.
