As a Senior Business Analyst in the Client Management Technology team, you will contribute to building and enhancing PIMCOs strategic platforms, including Client Reporting, Digital PRO, PIMCO.COM, and platforms supporting Account Reference Data and Transitions Event Management. You will deliver solutions using a broad technology stack (on-premises & cloud) including Python, Java, and various RDBMS databases. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop software and data analysis tools that support PIMCOs portfolio, client, and business management teams, focusing on deploying production-ready solutions that leverage internal frameworks, open-source tech, and cloud infrastructure to improve operational efficiency and strategic insights. Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications like MBA, MS in Business Analytics, or PMP are a plus. 3+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in financial services or enterprise tech. Experience with large-scale, cross-functional projects, especially in client reporting or digital platform migrations. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data querying, validation, and automation. Experience with on-prem databases (Oracle, Sybase) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure). Knowledge of data governance, ETL pipelines, and data quality frameworks. Understanding of fund structures, NAV calculations, performance attribution, and reconciliation is a plus. Skilled in gathering and documenting business requirements (BRD & FRD). Ability to conduct impact, cost/benefit, and risk analyses. Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical specifications and work with stakeholders. Experience with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies. This position offers a salary range of $110,000 to $124,000 plus discretionary bonus, based on experience and performance. EEO & Accessibility
