Histologist
for a full-time position on either the
second or third shift , offering a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment with opportunities for technical advancement and
competitive shift differential pay . About the Role
As a
Histologist , you will be part of a high-volume clinical lab performing complex histologic procedures with a strong emphasis on quality, accuracy, and turnaround time. This role involves routine and advanced histology processes, including embedding, microtomy, staining (H&E and special), and IHC. You ll play a key role in supporting pathology services and contributing to a team that helps drive timely diagnoses and improved patient outcomes. We currently have
openings on second and third shift , both of which offer
competitive shift differentials
for evening and overnight hours. Key Responsibilities
Perform routine histology functions: gross receipt, embedding, sectioning, and staining of tissue specimens
Execute high-quality microtomy, including difficult or delicate tissue types
Perform H&E, special stains, and immunohistochemistry (IHC) procedures
Ensure proper documentation and labeling of slides and blocks
Maintain and operate histology instruments and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed
Adhere to laboratory quality control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance standards
Support continuous improvement efforts in workflow and turnaround times
