Job Title: Data Center Infrastructure Cloud Engineer Company: Peraton Job Description Responsibilities: Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure environments. Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud. Identify top architecture solutions to meet and maintain the clients' strategic needs. Install, troubleshoot, patch, and configure cloud servers for optimal performance. Provide technical leadership and expertise in cloud cluster computing techniques and technologies, and advise on cloud architecture and migration roadmaps. Optimize memory management and develop distributed cluster-enabled and graph processing algorithms. Lead data integration and migration efforts, including schema mapping and resource translation. Develop large data technologies, algorithms, and applications; evaluate and deploy advanced cloud systems and analytics. Work with large datasets and complex algorithms, collaborating with team members from various specialties. Support a range of clients from analysts to senior leadership, contributing to a fast-growing software team. Apply knowledge of information extraction, analysis techniques, and advanced computer science concepts. Utilize cloud computing, Hadoop, MapReduce, and related technologies; ability to obtain security clearance. Develop and maintain processes, test cases, and documentation.
