Stanbridge University is seeking a passionate and experienced Program Director for our Vocational Nursing (VN) Program. This key role involves providing leadership, promoting academic excellence, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The successful candidate will help shape the future of licensed vocational nurses through innovative education, student-centered leadership, and faculty mentorship. Essential Functions: Oversee planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the VN program. Ensure compliance with regulations from the California BVNPT and other accrediting agencies. Recruit, supervise, mentor, and evaluate faculty to ensure effective instruction and curriculum alignment. Lead curriculum design, updates, and assessments to maintain industry relevance and licensing standards. Monitor student performance metrics and implement interventions to improve outcomes. Support clinical placements in collaboration with clinical partners. Collaborate on program budgeting and resource allocation. Prepare reports for BVNPT and other bodies; lead site visit preparations. Represent the program at professional events and with clinical partners. Qualifications: Current, active, and unencumbered RN license in California. Bachelors degree from a BVNPT-approved school; Masters in nursing, education, or administration preferred. Minimum four years of RN experience. At least one year in teaching or clinical supervision within the last five years, or three years in nursing administration or education within the last five years. Completion of coursework in administration, teaching, and curriculum development. Proven leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills; commitment to student and faculty development.
