Sr Product Owner, Data Products (Hybrid)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a self-motivated Senior Product Owner responsible for developing new products and enhancing existing ones. Working in an Agile environment with a cross-functional team, this person will define and execute the Product roadmap, ensuring the Backlog is properly prioritized and defined for the team.
Responsibilities: • Collaborate with team and stakeholders to build and manage the product backlog, aligning on vision, goals, and priorities. • Lead requirements gathering for high-level features and epics. • Coordinate with other Product Owners to ensure a unified approach to delivering value. • Develop story details, support sizing efforts, and decompose stories with the team. • Drive backlog refinement and participate actively in Sprint planning and review ceremonies. • Minimize variability to enable team delivery during Sprints. • Ensure Stories meet the definition of DONE. • Prioritize the ART Backlog to align with program priorities. • Maintain the conceptual and technical integrity of features. • Contribute to timelines and explore alternative paths for timing. • Evaluate tradeoffs in feature implementation. • Participate in usability studies to incorporate the voice of the customer. • Support Phase B activities, including defining customer journeys and high-level work estimations. • Ensure configuration consistency and partner with engineering leads for design and development alignment. • Facilitate software selection processes. • Serve as the first escalation point for Delivery POs in the ART.
Education and Experience: Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience. • 5+ years of Agile experience in a Product Owner role. • Knowledge of Software development, Mobile Apps, and Cloud development preferred. • Familiarity with Software Development technologies. • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences. • Experience in Medical Device or regulated product development. • Passion for process improvement.
Preferred Skills and Competencies: • Experience with Insulin Pumps development is a plus. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Proactive stakeholder communication. • Attention to detail with effective communication skills. • Creativity and urgency in overcoming obstacles. • Flexibility in a fast-paced industry.
Travel: Estimated at (not specified). Note: Hybrid work arrangement, requiring on-site presence at least three days per week at an Insulet office. #LI-Hybrid Additional Information: US salary range: $112,875 - $169,312.50, determined by role, level, and location.
