Position Overview The Salesforce Technical Development Lead directs and owns all technical aspects of Salesforce implementations and/or customizations including data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development for clients.

Responsibilities

Designs solutions and manages teams developing, testing, and supporting custom salesforce.com applications software using Apex Triggers, Lightning components, Visual Force or Sites pages, Web Services, Salesforce.com Metadata API, etc., as appropriate using code authoring tools such as Eclipse IDE to satisfy the applications’ business requirements.

Shares workload and performs hands-on development activities such as configuration, Apex code development, LWC component development, etc.

Provides technical leadership, setting best practices (e.g., integration and application development, deployment, testing, iterative refinement).

Provides presales support to sales team by scoping, solutioning, estimating, and providing technical and subject matter expertise; understands client problem statements and develops appropriate solutions.

Works with other practice leaders to identify competency areas to focus on, owns a competency area as a subject matter expert, and builds POVs, competency development plans, and coaches others.

Identifies ways to utilize SFDC to improve business processes and productivity, making recommendations to support rapid organizational scaling.

Defines, communicates, and manages a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of progressive development experience on the Salesforce platform.

Minimum 3 years of experience leading Enterprise Salesforce implementations with over 300 users, including integration with enterprise applications like Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.

Strong understanding of core clouds such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom app development on Salesforce.com platform.

Experience and knowledge of Data Cloud, Tableau, and Marketing Cloud; experience in the public sector is highly preferred.

Experience working with sales teams and providing presales support, including client discussions, solution definition, and estimation; comfortable presenting solutions to clients.

Experience with Lightning custom components and LWC Framework, with a strong understanding of UI/UX front-end development.

Experience with Salesforce integration tools and technology (e.g., Informatica Cloud, MuleSoft, Boomi, REST/SOAP APIs).

Experience in building Agentforce AI agents, including performance tuning and optimization, is a plus.

Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, SAFe, etc.).

Participation in all Salesforce project phases, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.

Ability to define integration strategies, develop requirements, design and prototype, test, train, and support practical business solutions.

Experience with DevOps tools for continuous integration, automated testing, and release management (e.g., Git, Gearset, Flosum, Copado, Salesforce DX, AutoRabbit).

Excellent communication and presentation skills, positive attitude, adaptable to shifting priorities.

Willingness to travel 25-50%.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $124,000 - $186,000 per year. Additional earnings may be available through incentive programs like bonuses and profit sharing. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), insurance, disability, HSA & DCFSA, transportation, employee assistance, tuition assistance, and paid time off.

Workplace Type This is a fully remote position.
