https://www.sarepta.com/join-us The Importance of the Role The Senior MSL will play a pivotal role in educating healthcare professionals (HCPs) about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Sarepta's investigational therapeutics and pipeline. Reporting to the West Region Team Leader, the Senior MSL is expected to have expertise in Neurology / Pediatrics and to be a scientific expert regarding Sarepta's portfolio. The MSL will serve as a resource for scientific information for key customers, including opinion leaders, investigators, advisors, and physician networks. The ideal candidate will be highly driven, combining scientific knowledge with customer service and compassion. They will also contribute to establishing MSL processes, policy, KOL strategy, and tactical planning. This position requires the incumbent to be located within the territory: Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee. The Opportunity to Make a Difference Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, and institutions within the territory. Implement KOL strategies, identify KOLs, and support speaker development. Lead medical education efforts by communicating scientific data and exchanging information during interactions. Present scientific data to healthcare professionals in various settings, including advisory boards and investigator meetings. Support clinical operations for ongoing trials, investigator-initiated studies, and registries. Assess potential sites for clinical research capabilities. Represent medical affairs at scientific meetings and develop post-conference materials. Develop expertise in Duchenne muscular dystrophy through literature review and scientific participation. Understand key medical and commercial strategies and support related activities. More about You MD, PhD, PharmD, or NP/PA preferred. 5+ years of MSL experience is a plus. Familiarity with industry and regulatory compliance guidelines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Existing Neurology/Pediatric experience and relationships are a plus; experience in immunology and/or gene therapy is also advantageous. Willingness to travel >50% of the time. Experience in clinical trial design, data interpretation, and medical marketing strategies. High integrity, sense of urgency, and ability to recognize time sensitivity. The targeted salary range is $200,000 - $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience and other factors.
