Georgia-Pacific’s Software Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager who is excited and energized by the opportunity to own and drive key initiatives in our Shared Services organization, supporting several enterprise platforms. In this role you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of technical solutions, implementing and continuously improving Product Management processes, ensuring alignment with business strategies, and managing the product lifecycle from conception to launch. Georgia-Pacific’s Software Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager who is excited and energized by the opportunity to own and drive key initiatives in our Shared Services organization, supporting several enterprise platforms. In this role you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of technical solutions, implementing and continuously improving Product Management processes, ensuring alignment with business strategies, and managing the product lifecycle from conception to launch.
Location : This is an onsite role (3 days in office) based out of our Atlanta office.
Our Team
GP’s Software Engineering & Integration team’s core competency is designing, building, delivering, and maintaining custom software solutions and integrations. We recently initiated our transformation journey, creating functions and capabilities that enable engineers to have major impacts on GP’s business performance. We seek to build functionality once, so engineers are encouraged to re-use their peers’ work and modify them to meet new use cases. We focus on delivering profitable business outcomes by partnering with business analysts, delivery leaders, and quality engineers to build the right solution at the right speed.
What You Will Do
Build and nurture relationships with the Shared Services team and its partners across GP IT Capabilities and Koch Technology to deliver and maintain enterprise solutions that maximize long-term value. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and priorities. Liaison and coordinate prioritization and execution of Shared Services priorities across all IT capabilities and Koch Technology. Lead the development and continuous improvement of Product Management practices, fostering a principle-based, value-driven approach across the team. Apply strategic and economic thinking to align product initiatives with business vision and technology roadmaps, prioritizing efforts for the greatest impact. Optimize team contributions by allocating resources based on comparative advantage and evolving business needs Communicate proactively and transparently with stakeholders, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations Demonstrate ownership for project outcomes, driving continuous improvement and transformation throughout the product lifecycle
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Demonstrated experience in product management or a related field, with a focus on delivering mutually beneficial results Experience establishing or enhancing Product Management practices, frameworks, or processes within an organization others to adopt best practices and principle-based approaches Prior experience in driving transformation and continuous improvement in team capabilities Proven problem-solving and principled decision-making abilities, applying sound economic and critical thinking Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, focusing on value creation and eliminating waste Experience with backlog management and prioritization, ensuring alignment with business vision and comparative advantage Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

Previous experience utilizing Agile methodologies and experience applying them to maximize team contribution and adaptability Experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle and driving continuous improvement Demonstrated ability to develop and implement technical roadmaps, making principled decisions on priorities and resource allocation Experience working with global teams Experience in the manufacturing industry
