We are seeking a strategic, creative, and visionary Social Media Creative Director to lead our digital presence and play a crucial role in shaping the future of the auction house through bold, innovative, and high-impact social media strategies. Summary : We are looking for a talented and experienced Creative Director for Social Media Marketing to lead our social media marketing efforts. The individual in this role will drive the vision and strategy for all social channels, positioning Heritage Auctions as the go-to premier global auction house for fine art and collectibles. This individual will lead a talented team and collaborate with cross-functional partners to make Heritage’s social presence indispensable for collectors. We’re seeking a leader with a proven track record in multi-channel social media, who’s deeply knowledgeable about digital storytelling, content trends, community-building, connecting social initiatives to business results, and striking the right balance between national/global and local strategies. This individual will bring expertise in strategy, a keen eye for visual impact, and a passion for coaching teams, with a willingness to experiment and move fast. We welcome leaders already well-versed in applying AI to social strategy or those eager to learn and deploy these technologies to enhance content quality and performance. Compensation :

Our global headquarters in Dallas (2801 W Airport Fwy, near the DFW airport) Essential Duties & Responsibilities : Develop and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategies across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) to support marketing objectives and expand HA’s reach, engagement, and loyalty. Lead daily operations and manage a team of social media professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support. Oversee creation of visually compelling, authentic content that highlights Heritage’s diverse categories. Manage the social media content calendar, ensuring relevance, engagement, and timeliness. Develop and implement social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and analytics. Collaborate with Consignment Directors for interviews with experts and consigners across categories. Work with the Video department to produce and edit high-quality photo and video content for social media. Foster a creative, forward-thinking team culture. Champion new formats, emerging platforms, and innovative ideas that resonate with audiences and set industry standards. Transform key auction moments into standout social campaigns. Coordinate with PR and Marketing teams to align social campaigns with broader initiatives and announcements. Set, track, and analyze KPIs, using data to optimize content and campaigns. Stay updated on social media trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to strategy. Build relationships with influencers, customers, and partners to enhance social presence. Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging. Travel regularly for auction coverage and events, capturing real-time content. For those based in Beverly Hills, frequent travel to Dallas to coordinate with the core team. Requirements : Education & Experience : At least 3 years of management experience in social media marketing. Proven success in executing multi-platform social media campaigns (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn). Strong analytical skills for social media metrics and data-driven decisions. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. Interpersonal skills for effective interviewing and stakeholder engagement. Deep understanding of social media technologies, trends, and best practices. Experience with social media advertising, including budgeting and targeting. Strong project management skills for handling multiple projects.
