You’ll supervise a team of 3 electricians and take the lead on troubleshooting PLCs, programming HMIs, and improving plant-wide control systems. You won’t be sitting behind a desk—this is a floor-facing role that blends technical depth with people management. You'll guide your team through day-to-day issues while helping drive major upgrades and long-term improvements. What You’ll Do Supervise and support a team of electricians during the first shift Troubleshoot electrical controls and automation issues on high-speed lines Modify and maintain PLC and HMI programs (Allen Bradley and FactoryTalk) Create and revise control schematics using AutoCAD Electrical Lead automation upgrades and support robotics, VFDs, and other controls hardware Work closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering on improvement projects Train your team and help level up their technical skills Ensure safe work practices and compliance with all electrical standards What You’ll Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in controls or electrical engineering in a food, beverage, CPG or closely related manufacturing site Leadership is a plus Strong working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk View, and HMI systems Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related field or an equivalent of 10+ years of controls experience in a food environment Experience in AutoCAD Electrical and industrial networks is a plus Familiarity with high-speed packaging equipment and food safety standards is Clear communicator who leads by example and earns team trust What Success Looks Like You’re leading from the floor, not the office You can spot issues early and fix them fast You know how to push projects forward while coaching the team You speak the of operations, maintenance, and controls You bring urgency, consistency, and technical depth to everything you do Apply Now If you’re ready to step into a leadership role that blends technical problem-solving with real team management, we’d like to hear from you.
