The Opportunity This is more than running a facility—it’s building a trusted brand in the community. We’re expanding with new youth classes, adult training sessions, party offerings, and community events, and we need a General Manager who can lead from the front. This is a hands-on role that blends leadership, operational oversight, community engagement, and light marketing duties to drive growth. The GM be expected to consistently hit and grow participation, revenue, and operational goals . Your Responsibilities: Lead & Develop the Team Recruit, train, and manage 15–25 staff (coaches, front desk, event hosts). Set clear expectations and hold staff accountable for performance, professionalism, and customer experience. Delegate effectively, ensuring the right people are handling the right tasks—and that deadlines are met. Manage daily scheduling, inventory, safety compliance, and facility upkeep. Ensure programs run on time, equipment is ready, and the facility is guest-ready every day. Identify operational gaps and implement solutions quickly. Drive Growth & Build the Brand Increase participation in classes, camps, parties & events, and open sessions. Collaborate on community outreach and partnerships. Execute light social media posting and basic email marketing to promote programs and events. Represent the brand positively in all community interactions. Own the Customer Experience Respond to parent/participant communication and feedback within 24 hours. Oversee check-in and guest interactions to ensure a consistent, welcoming atmosphere. Step in to facilitate operation and events as needed (average 2–4 per week). Lead quarterly safety drills and maintain CPR/First Aid/EpiPen certifications for self and staff. What You Bring 2+ years of leadership in management, sales, or operations. Experience in youth programming, sports, fitness, or recreation. Strong time management and delegation skills—you know how to prioritize and keep the team (and yourself) on track. Thrive in a high energy environment that can at times get noisy Proven ability to recruit, motivate, and retain a high-performing team. Comfort with basic social media and email marketing tools. Evening and Weekend availability (our busiest times). A results-driven mindset with a passion for building a brand and growing a business. Physical Requirements Able to demonstrate or learn basic movement skills.
