Field Applications Engineer
responsible for supporting customer accounts in the Northwest US, proactively solving design challenges through creative application solutions. The engineer will call on major customers in the territory, engaging in customer interfacing activities that require excellent communication skills and a strong technical background. Experience with discrete semiconductors, analog ICs, power management devices, quartz frequency control devices, and timing and connectivity ICs is essential. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in managing the territory to provide technical and sales support for products such as diodes, rectifiers, transistors, MOSFETs, protection devices, function-specific arrays, logic devices, crystals, oscillators, amplifiers, comparators, sensors, power management devices, LED drivers, AC-DC converters, DC-DC regulators, voltage references, USB power switches, load switches, voltage supervisors, motor controllers, connectivity and timing ICs, redrivers, retimers, and PCIe packet switches. Work closely with customers to understand their system application requirements and identify new sales opportunities. Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to define new products, support design cycles, and advance technological solutions. Prepare data and documentation for customer presentations, conduct training sessions, and demonstrate new products. Prepare data and documentation for quarterly territory presentations. Act as a teacher and technical resource for sales channels and customer design teams. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong ability to communicate product and application suggestions to Marketing. Minimum 10 years of experience and a BSEE degree required. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong design and technical background. Keen problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team to solve problems. Strong team and matrix management experience.
