We are partnering with a mid-size firm in Raleigh, NC in their search for a corporate M&A associate: Join a dynamic corporate law practice as an Associate and play a key role in a wide range of mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactions. We're looking for a motivated associate with
3-6 years of M&A experience
to work alongside a team recognized for its deep expertise in the insurance and financial services industries. You'll have the opportunity to combine extensive corporate knowledge with in-depth regulatory insights, providing critical legal counsel to a diverse client base. What you'll do: Manage and coordinate due diligence processes. Draft and negotiate key transaction documents. Guide clients through closings and post-closing matters. Advise on general corporate law, including entity formation and governance. Handle other corporate and transactional matters, such as joint ventures and commercial contracts. Qualifications: 3-6 years of hands-on experience in M&A transactions. Solid working knowledge of general corporate law. A J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited law school with a strong academic record. Admitted to practice in North Carolina, eligible for a waiver, or willing to sit for the North Carolina Bar Exam. Exceptional project management, communication, and writing skills. A proven ability to manage a fast-paced workload and succeed in a collaborative team environment.
