Position Overview: Hotel Manager
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, guest-focused leader to oversee and manage all aspects of hotel operations. From front desk management to housekeeping, breakfast services, and team development, you’ll be involved in ensuring every guest experience is flawless. This role provides the opportunity to manage a dynamic team and drive operational excellence. If you're passionate about hospitality and enjoy working hands-on in a variety of departments, this position is perfect for you! The beginning salary ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 DOQ.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Inspire : Recruit, train, and develop a talented team to provide exceptional guest service and quality experiences that align with our high standards.
Operations Management : Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring smooth performance across guest relations, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, breakfast, and more.
Sales & Marketing : Collaborate with the sales team to optimize meeting room setups, catering services, and ensure every event meets guests’ expectations. We currently have one meeting room and one board room to attract small meetings, board retreats, etc.
Financial Leadership : Work with the Property Revenue Manager to forecast sales and assist with financial goals, ensuring profitability and budgetary success.
Hands-On Support : Step in and assist in various departments when needed, from guest check-ins to troubleshooting issues, ensuring operations run seamlessly.
Safety & Compliance : Administer financial transactions, safeguard the hotel’s assets, and ensure compliance with safety protocols for both guests and staff.
Maintain Excellence : Set the standard for cleanliness, service, and maintenance while fostering a culture of professionalism that reflects in our outstanding guest reviews and Quality Assurance scores.
What We’re Looking For:
Passion for Hospitality : Experience in hotel management or a supervisory role in the hospitality industry with a strong understanding of guest services.
Leadership : Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team to deliver exceptional service.
Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with the competitive landscape and industry trends to ensure the hotel maintains a competitive edge.
Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication to engage with staff, guests, and owners effectively.
Flexibility & Commitment : Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet the hotel’s needs.
Physical Endurance : Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and assist in maintaining property operations.

Qualifications:
A minimum of four years of hotel management or supervisory experience , with a comprehensive understanding of front office operations preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business or Hotel Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of local competition and general industry trends.
Strong leadership skills and a professional demeanor.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
Proficiency in various computer software applications.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and both day and evening shifts, as business needs require.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, push, pull, bend, reach, climb stairs, and communicate clearly.
