Cloud Resiliency Engineer - INTL - Costa Rica

Job Description A large consulting company is seeking a Cloud Resiliency Engineer to support their team. This role involves helping clients enhance the reliability and recoverability of their Microsoft Azure cloud environments through technical engagements and risk assessments. Candidates should possess deep expertise in Azure architecture, disaster recovery, business continuity, and designing Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs). The ideal candidate will have over five years of hands-on experience in high availability design, resiliency patterns, and incident response coordination. Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, and ITIL Foundation are required. Skills and Requirements Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in: Designing high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions in Microsoft Azure. Understanding of Azure infrastructure, including Availability Zones, backup/recovery, and monitoring services. Knowledge of cloud-native resiliency patterns and site reliability engineering (SRE) methodologies. Assessing and designing effective Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs) aligned with SLAs and business risks. Business continuity planning, incident response coordination, and process maturity assessments. Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical and executive audiences. Background in technical consulting or assessment-based delivery engagements.
