Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to work in Chantilly, VA.
This position will serve as a Lead Developer, where you can expect to spend your day leading a small, dynamic team of developers building, enhancing, and maintaining a mission critical capability with a strong user base. You will work closely with the Program Manager and the Chief Engineer to define & prioritize feature requests that align with the customer's mission and then work with the technical team to implement, test, and deploy the capability.
Key Qualifications
US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with willingness to obtain and maintain Full Scope with Polygraph Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree and +8 years of work experience or equivalent Desire to work in a leadership role while remaining technical and hands-on Hands-on experience with Full-stack development (back-end and front-end concepts) Database expertise (PostgreSQL or MySQL): indexing & paging strategies, table design & optimization, database security best practices Experience with SQLAlchemy or similar ORM Experience in API layer development using FastAPI or Flask (Python) Experience in Data validation with Pydantic Experience with front-end development technologies such as Vue, React, or Angular Familiarity with Security and design, including OAuth2 Proficiency with GitHub Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and/or Podman Strong understanding of configuration management Preferred Qualifications
AWS or Azure knowledge Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge and experience with data science concepts Excellent communication skills, oral and written Ability to work individually and in small fast-paced team environments Passion and drive to constantly need to improve your skill set
