Must Haves: 4+ years of data science experience Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) Python programming skills Experience building or implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines Nice to Haves: Strong promotional track/tenure in past roles Large enterprise experience Client Day-to-Day: As a Senior Data Scientist III, you will use your advanced analytical and machine learning skills to extract insights from large-scale data and develop scalable AI/ML solutions. Youll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and data teams to deliver innovative, production-ready models. You will also work closely with stakeholders to design and implement RAG-based architectures, integrating external knowledge sources (e.g., vector databases, semantic search) to improve LLM performance for enterprise use cases. Responsibilities: Develop and deploy models using machine learning algorithms such as deep learning, gradient boosting, and random forests Apply LLMs in real-world applications, including RAG pipelines and hybrid retrieval techniques Work with transformer-based models such as BERT, RoBERTa, T5, GPT-3.5, GPT-4, Claude, Mistral, etc. Build and manage pipelines using distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) Write production-quality code using Python or other modern languages Lead or mentor junior team members and serve as a subject matter expert Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
