Position Purpose

We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-service-driven individuals to join our catering team as per diem waitstaff. A

positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

are essential, as you'll be representing our department at a wide variety of events including receptions, banquets, academic programs, and special functions. Shifts are scheduled on an as-needed basis depending on event needs. Available shifts are given with advance notice, usually 2-3 weeks prior to event date.

friendly, can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team Flexibility with scheduling (weekday evenings and occasional weekends) Preferred Qualifications

Key Accountabilities

Set up and break down event spaces, including catering equipment such as chafers, place settings and linens. Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, mostly banquet and buffet style, occasionally seated plated style. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas. Follow all health and safety regulations. Engage guests with courtesy and a positive, helpful attitude. Assist with post-event cleanup as needed. Follow directions from catering manager.
