Quality Assurance Analyst
Our Denver client is seeking a mid to senior level Quality Assurance Analyst (Manual Tester) with 8+ years of experience to contribute to their Video Delivery team. Responsibilities: A quality assurance analyst creates tests to find any problems with software before the product is launched. They identify and analyze any bugs found during testing and document them. They also must pay very close attention to detail and coach their team on managing testing tools, reporting results, and motivating process improvement. A normal workday for a quality assurance engineer includes developing new tests to run, running the tests, and documenting the results; if any defects are noted the quality assurance analysts will need to collaborate with the software developers to find a fix and patch the program. Once the defect has been patched, they will need to run the test again to make sure there are no new bugs and to make sure the defect found has been corrected. 8- 10+ years of experience. Experience Requirements: Display professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretion. Critical thinker, ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and maintain positive attitude. Ability to work well with shifting priorities. Experience testing streaming video (specifically on apps) on native OTT devices, like Roku, Apple TV, Smart TVs, and mobile phones. Experience with API validations. Experience with Agile methodologies, like SCRUM or Kanban, and related tools, like JIRA. Tools: Splunk, Charles Proxy, or similar.
