Buyer-Rental Coordinator
Fayetteville, AR, US, 72703 APAC - Central-Central West Region - NWA The Buy-Rental Coordinator serves as a pivotal team member, responsible for facilitating the efficient procurement and coordination of products and servicesparticularly rental equipmentacross the organization. This role interacts with a wide range of employees, clarifies procurement needs, assists in supplier evaluation, generates and places orders, and works collaboratively with Equipment and Accounts Payable departments. The Buy-Rental Coordinator is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and cost-effective purchasing while providing exceptional support to internal stakeholders. Interact directly with service providers to ensure rental equipment is consistently maintained and serviced as required. Collaborate with suppliers and the Sourcing Department to confirm that all product and service informationsuch as pricing, availability, part numbers, and delivery detailsis accurately reflected on all orders. Prepare draft purchase orders within the Proactis system and oversee their processing to completion. Work with requestors to gather, sign, and date packing slips and other delivery documentation as necessary. Expedite orders and provide troubleshooting support, resolving issues promptly to avoid workflow disruptions. Review procurement and accounts payable reports regularly to identify missing invoices, redundant orders, and opportunities for order cancellations or improvements. Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance in accordance with assigned schedules. Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational success. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience
13 years of related experience in purchasing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience with procurement tools, processes, and systems is an asset but not required. Background in mining, construction, or manufacturing environments is beneficial but not mandatory. Highly detail-oriented with strong data entry skills and proficiency in Outlook. Self-motivated, capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness. Proficient in using the internet for research and supplier evaluation. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Upholds the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and trust. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, communicate verbally, and hear as needed for daily tasks. Vision abilities (with correction) include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Frequent sitting and hand use for extended periods.
