See additional job details and benefits below The Sales and Events Manager at Eddie V's is accountable for delivering profitable sales growth by creating and executing business development plans to acquire new guests and grow contracted dining business by creating indulgent experiences for our guests. Core tenets of the role include building relationships with new and existing guests, increasing total revenue and contracted dining revenue, and executing exceptional contracted event dining experiences. Success is measured by consistent profitable sales growth through our systems and procedures, benefiting all stakeholders. Reports To: Managing Partner Direct Reports: 1 - 8 Responsibilities Create accountability for profitable sales growth results Achieve restaurant financial goals, including sales growth, close ratios, and private dining sales Manage and reconcile the local marketing budget to generate positive ROI on sales initiatives Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with the managing partner to address business needs, such as: Hosting in-house or off-site events to attract new business (meeting planners, administrative assistants, etc.) Re-engaging lapsed guests and introducing new guests using local marketing funds Providing weekly sales projections and developing outreach plans to meet targets Executing outreach plans for events like Restaurant Week, gift card sales, wine events, including invitations, contests, referrals, and re-engagement strategies Cultivate guest relationships Build and track customer relationship management (CRM) outreach to prospects and existing guests Develop referral relationships with partner organizations (chambers, CVB, hotels, etc.) Grow the guest database for targeted outreach (birthdays, anniversaries, email marketing) by maintaining accurate and cleansed guest information Educate and coach team members to foster a strong sales culture focused on relationship building and growth Grow contracted dining business by creating indulgent experiences Develop relationships with key stakeholders at nearby businesses (admins, meeting planners, etc.) Negotiate contracts, record event details accurately, and coordinate with culinary and service teams to ensure exceptional event experiences Ensure flawless planning and execution of private dining events, including greeting and being of service to hosts to exceed expectations (remaining until main course is served) Follow up post-event to gather feedback, provide service, and secure repeat business Other responsibilities Participate in Host University and training sessions to enhance sales skills and share best practices Support the managing partner in optimizing the reservation system Disseminate and implement communications from Restaurant Support Center (RSC) timely Partner with RSC for legal, financial, and marketing approvals and support Use project management systems to create marketing collateral for sales initiatives Education, Training, Experience, and Key Qualifications Proficient in verbal and written English communication Experience in luxury brands or high-touch service culture preferred Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business preferred Proficiency with Outlook, OpenTable, and Gather preferred
