Sr. Global Business Development Manager

to join our Global Business Development (GBD) team. In this role, you’ll drive strategic partnerships and innovative business opportunities that enhance the PlayStation platform experience for millions of players worldwide. About the Role As a Senior Manager, you’ll partner across teams to identify, evaluate, and launch opportunities that shape the future of the PlayStation platform. You’ll lead initiatives that combine market insights, data analysis, and strategic thinking to inform senior leadership decisions and strengthen PlayStation’s global alliances. You’ll also own the end-to-end process for new third-party partnerships, from identifying opportunities and leading negotiations to supporting launches and long-term account management. Collaboration will be central, working cross-functionally with Legal, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and more to bring partnerships to life. What You'll Do: Drive partnerships & revenue growth:
Identify and execute opportunities with platform-integrated partners (e.g., YouTube, Twitch, Spotify) and explore new partnership models that engage PlayStation users. Lead strategic analysis:
Develop financial models, business cases, and strategic frameworks to inform deal structures and support decision-making. Influence PlayStation’s strategy:
Contribute to global strategy development across non-gaming media services, new product verticals, and experimental experiences. Collaborate cross-functionally:
Partner with internal teams (marketing, product, engineering, legal, etc.) to deliver seamless execution and scalable business opportunities. Champion data-driven insights:
Lead data analytics projects to inform business decisions and identify emerging industry trends. Build strong partnerships:
Manage relationships pre- and post-deal, define co-marketing strategies, and conduct quarterly partner reviews. Represent PlayStation:
Present business proposals and updates to senior leaders, including executive stakeholders. What We’re Looking For: 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, strategy, consulting, or investment banking. Background in digital media, technology, or gaming preferred. Expertise in financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and strategic evaluation. Proven ability to foster partnerships and collaborate with diverse, global teams. Exceptional written and verbal skills, including the ability to present to executive audiences. Familiarity with digital entertainment, distribution models, and consumer trends. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools. Genuine interest in media, technology, and gaming. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, JD, or related advanced degree a plus.
