Position Responsibilities: Plan, organize and implement the daily program and curriculum at the branch for your site (during school hours) Adhere school site program to NH Child Care Licensing regulations and maintain appropriate files Implement our Character Development curriculum components and role model Y core values Attend weekly site director meetings, workshops, Y trainings, etc. Supervise, train and mentor site staff and assigned volunteers Build and maintain strong working relationships with
school/administrative
staff and parents Working no school days, vacation week programs, and working our summer camp Position Specifics: Full Time employment Monday – Friday 7:00a-6:00p Merrimack /Concord Programs $18+ Qualifications: Must be at least 20 years of age, have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma, and have at least
one
of the following: A bachelor’s degree in elementary education or recreation, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university; An associate’s degree in early childhood education, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university; Certification of successful completion of training as a recreation director plus 1000 hours experience working with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program or elementary school; A total of 12 credits in early childhood education, human growth and development, education or recreation, from a regionally accredited college plus 1000 hours of experience working with children Benefits: This is a full-time, hourly position with an extensive benefit package that includes: Generous paid vacation time (4 weeks paid time off & 6 Holidays that accrues with tenure) Medical, dental and Vision insurance UNH Manchester, SNHU and Granite State College tuition discounts Free 2 Adult Family YMCA Membership 50% discount on Preschool Childcare, School Age Childcare, and Summer Camp services Discounts on Programs for yourself & family members 25% discounts on Birthday Parties, Pool, and Gym Rentals After qualifying, 8% employer contribution to retirement fund Requirements:
