Participate in the construction, support, and enhancement of Marketing and Financials related batch applications, databases, and user screens. Participate in the development, testing, and implementation of efficient, cost-effective application solutions. Responsibilities: Designs, develops, tests, implements, and supports solutions and enhancements for systems and processes. Creates and maintains documentation to support the full software development lifecycle. Reviews teamwork products for quality and adherence to standards. Evaluates business requirements and processes to provide possible solutions and accurate estimates for development efforts. Research support issues, business requests, and potential solutions. Assists in developing and improving procedures, standards, and best practices. Effectively communicates with business partners, peers, and management. Responsible for problem resolution and correction of production/operational problems as assigned. May receive calls in the night when there is a job failure from the Ops team. Receive general supervision from lead and/or management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3 years' experience in systems analysis and application program development. Practical knowledge of system and applications program development technological alternatives. Proficiency in programming languages. Demonstrated good judgement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff. Experience with most of the following: AS400/iSeries skills: SQL400, DB2-400, RPG, PRGLE, SQLRPGLE, CL, and CLLE. Familiarity with other AS400 tools like Hawkeye, turnover and robot-scheduler. Seniority level
