Senior Embedded Software Engineer

ALTEN Technology USA As Senior Embedded Software Engineer you will; Creating requirements and architecture for safety or mission critical systems. Designing, writing, testing, and documenting embedded software for safety or mission critical systems. Perform integration (software/hardware and software/software) and component-level testing. Design and implement testing frameworks and create comprehensive test plans. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in an embedded systems environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications; Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. 7+ years of embedded software development experience. 5+ years of embedded software development for safety-critical or mission-critical systems. 2+ years of experience in software development per DO-178C. 1+ years of experience with digital logic design. 1+ years of model-based software development experience. Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages. Strong understanding of digital logic design principles. Experience with the full software development lifecycle. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Location: Onsite in Indianapolis, IN.
