Collaborate effectively across the IT organization to ensure the security of our network infrastructure. Develop and implement security protocols to protect sensitive information. Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond to potential threats. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests. Implement security improvements by assessing current situations, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations and architectures. Create reports on security incidents, breaches, or potential vulnerabilities. Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience applying industry security standards and guidelines, including NIST, CSF, and RMO; working with security technology, such as firewalls, SIEM, XDR, detection/prevention systems, and encryption; translating architectural requirements and design into implementation; conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analysis to identify security vulnerabilities; designing, developing, and implementing security controls to mitigate risk; building relationships with LOB stakeholders, leadership, and internal partners; obtaining, analyzing, and synthesizing information from multiple sources, including performance and risk metrics; building system designs and providing updates during Agile ceremonies and other forums; developing Regex to parse data between unique data models; and parsing data using JSON.
