Looking to join a cutting-edge tech company in the rapidly growing 3D printing/Additive Manufacturing (AM) market? As a
Territory Business Development Manager
(TBDM) at PostProcess, youll build strong relationships with industry leadersfrom Fortune 100 companies to innovative startupsand manage Channel Partners and team with Strategic Partners. Your focus will be on demonstrating the high ROI, safety, throughput and consistency of our automated post-printing solutions for polymer support removal and surface finishing. A key part of your role will be collaborating with Channel Partners to accelerate revenue growth. Youll own end-to-end customer and Channel Partner relationships within your territory, working closely with Process Development and Applications Engineering to win business and ensure smooth installations, training and integrations. Success in this role requires a proven track record of meeting aggressive sales targets, building influential relationships from the AM lab to C-level execs, and consistently delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically about our business and our customers success, work collaboratively across all departments to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction to our growing list of 500+ global customers, utilize our proven value selling toolkit and bring new best practices to the team. A results-driven road warrior with high clockspeed, agility and hands-on execution are hallmarks of a successful PostProcess teammate. With our uncapped commission plan, youll have an opportunity to earn substantial commissions in the fast growing AM market as well as additional equity for top performers. Location: Ideally, candidates will be based in Boston, NYC/NJ, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore or Buffalo. Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop a deep understanding of AM to become an indispensable
trusted advisor
to customers. Achieve monthly sales targets for
Initial Solution Sales ,
Replenishment Consumables , and
Extended Services . Build and maintain a robust Key Opportunity (KO) pipeline with prospects and Channel Partners, ensuring ample opportunities at each stage to meet or exceed sales quotas. Forge strong, long-term relationships with
Key Decision Makers
at customers and Channel Partners, driving recurring consumable and extended services sales and multiple machine purchases. Utilize
Value Selling Tools
effectively and collaborate with marketing to expand the toolkit. Host Solution Experience Tours (SETs)
and
VSETs
to showcase our solutions to prospects and customers, often in conjunction with Channel Partner sales reps. Attend industry events to
increase brand presence
and build industry connections. Collaborate with
3D printer company sales reps
to offer end-to-end workflows, enhance customer service and receive referrals. Share customer and market insights to influence
product development ,
marketing strategies , and
company direction. Align personal OKRs with company objectives through close collaboration with the CEO. Manage travel and expenses efficiently to not exceed
monthly OPEX targets. Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Road Warrior:
Regular travel to meet customers in their labs, actively pursuing new business and maintaining a strong field presence. Relationship Building : Proven ability to establish and maintain influential relationships from lab technicians to C-level executives across diverse industries (Dental, Consumer Goods, Automotive, Aerospace, etc.). Sales Expertise:
Exceptional value selling, negotiation, and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas. Data-Driven Approach:
Effectively use sales tools to track KPIs and adjust strategies to achieve superior results. Proven Channel Management:
Experience working with distributors to expand market reach and maximize partner effectiveness. Team Collaboration:
Strong interpersonal skills, fostering trust and teamwork with peers and stakeholders. Leadership Ability:
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams to drive rapid KO closure and resolve customer issues. High Clockspeed & Agility:
Thrives in fast-paced environments, accelerating opportunities through the sales funnel with urgency. Organizational Skills:
Excellent prioritization, time management, and the ability to make decisions with limited data. Effective Communication:
Direct, transparent, and professional communication style, with strong presentation skills for technical audiences. Growth Mindset : Embraces continuous improvement and the willingness to fail fast. Technical Proficiency : Strong skills in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM (e.g., NetSuite) and AI productivity tools. Passion for 3D Printing: Enthusiasm for how it is revolutionizing manufacturing. Experience:
7+ years of selling industrial machinery to a wide variety of customers (i.e., small dental labs to Fortune 50 conglomerates) Experience in Additive Manufacturing and early-stage, high-growth companies is a plus. Leadership experience is beneficial but not required. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or a business degree with strong technical acumen.
