Overview
The Float Executive Director is responsible for the operations and accountable for the operating outcomes of an assigned owned/managed community. They ensure regulatory compliance, profitability, achievement of system goals, satisfaction, quality, the Benedictine experience, and uphold the mission and values of Benedictine. Responsibilities
Manage the operations of the assigned Benedictine community to ensure sustainability, compliance, profitability, and high satisfaction levels among residents, families, and staff, aligned with Benedictine's mission and values. Oversee the selection, training, leadership development, and performance management of leadership staff to maintain a motivated and professional workforce. Collaborate with the Vice President, Operations to develop tactical plans and execute strategic directions supporting long-term goals. Develop and implement budgets to achieve sustainability and profitability targets. Act as a liaison between the community and regional teams to ensure quality principles and programs are properly implemented. Promote the Benedictine Mission and Core Values—Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice—integrating them into daily activities. Perform other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field. Ability to relate actively to staff, board, and community members. Strong leadership, human relations, and communication skills. Licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in multiple states served by Benedictine, preferably as a Health Services Executive (HSE). Seven (7) or more years of long-term care administrator experience preferred. Additional Qualifications for Housing: Licensed or meeting state-specific criteria to operate housing.
