Job Title -Project Analyst EL
Location -Washington, DC 20002
Duration - 12+ months
Position Overview
The client seeks a qualified Program Analyst to support the management and coordination of professional learning programs and technical assistance initiatives for English Learners (ELs) across the District. The contractor will play a key role in providing direct support to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) , overseeing programmatic communications, and ensuring strategic alignment with the agency’s priorities for English learner success.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with experience managing data collections, vendor relationships, and cross-functional education projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with organizational and project management experience, are essential.
Key Responsibilities Provide technical assistance and guidance to LEAs in support of English learners. Manage timeline and milestone planning for EL-related projects. Collaborate with teams across the Division of Teaching and Learning to align initiatives supporting English learners. Oversee communication strategies related to EL supports and resources. Manage and coordinate with external vendor contractors, including support for program evaluation and iterative improvement. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Experience supporting or managing programs for English learners. Proven project management skills, including planning, implementation, and monitoring. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Experience in data collection and analysis to inform program decisions. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including educators and external partners.
