seeking
a highly skilled
Senior I Business/Financial Management Analyst
to provide
critical support to the FAA through expert coordination, accounting, financial planning, and administration functions. This role requires advanced financial analysis and strong organizational skills to manage and
monitor
funding allocation, business process analysis, and financial reporting. The individual in this role will contribute to the FAA's operational and logistical functions, with specific focus on the establishment and management of reimbursable agreements, budgeting, and overall financial control. Additionally, the analyst will
be responsible for
maintaining
high standards
in data accuracy and the efficient close-out of projects. This position is
full-time and on-site
at FAA headquarters in Washington, DC. Key Duties and Responsibilities The Senior I Business/Financial Management Analyst will perform a wide range of financial and program support activities, including but not limited to: Support
financial management
activities including planning, budgeting, and controlling the allocation of funding across multiple projects. Coordinate and manage the creation and monitoring of reimbursable agreements with external stakeholders via the Treasury G-Invoicing system, FAA Projects Toolset, and/or Delphi. Analyze and reconcile financial data and project information, ensuring proper documentation and approvals for financial transactions and accounting analysis. Ensure accuracy in accounting data, including the preparation of financial reports and the
timely
close-out of reimbursable projects. Participate in external Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and deliver clear, concise briefings to leadership and stakeholders. Develop and
maintain
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and business process controls for financial operations. Provide
expert advice on financial operations and
facilitate
communication with external customers to
validate
expenditures and
facilitate
timely
billing and collection. Support the FAA Office of Financial Management Special Projects Division with project authority setup, accounting lines, and MIPR tracking. Use Tableau for financial data visualization and dashboard development. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum
of
8
years of relevant
financial management
experience. Eligibility to obtain and
maintain
a
Secret security clearance
. Possession of a valid
REAL ID
or U.S. Passport. Desired Qualifications Master's Degree Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency
with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint. Prior experience supporting the FAA or other U.S. Government clients. Work Environment Full-time, on-site in Washington, DC. About the Mission This position directly supports the
