About the job:
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to lead the design and execution of automated testing strategies using a BDD framework. This role focuses on building scalable test automation solutions and ensuring high-quality software delivery within the Property & Casualty insurance domain.
What you will do at Sogeti:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and BDD frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with project timelines and requirements.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback and faster releases.
Analyze test results, log defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
Create and manage test data and scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Maintain a scalable and reusable automation framework across platforms.
Advocate for quality assurance best practices and continuous improvement.
What you will bring:
4+ years of experience in quality engineering, including 2+ years in automation.
Hands-on experience with Selenium (Java), API testing, and CI/CD integration.
Familiarity with P&C insurance systems such as Guidewire, Duckcreek, or Origami.
Proficiency with tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Git.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
