Mainframe Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer to join our core banking technology team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing mission-critical applications that support real-time banking and payment systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in COBOL and related mainframe technologies. Top Skills: Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC, and CICS. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities. Optimize and refactor legacy code to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability. Develop and maintain batch and online programs, including MQ Series and Easytrieve components. Support application modernization efforts, including integration with APIs and distributed systems. Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth release management and change control. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
