Data Analyst (CESAM)

Bowhead seeks a Data Analyst to join our team in Mobile, AL. The Data Analyst is responsible for providing technical assistance to the DQM Center in the proper and orderly processing of DQM automated dredge monitoring data to include dredge production data, contract compliance, dredge certification, and environmental compliance. Technical support includes but is not limited to the following tasks: project setup and closeout, evaluation of dredging activities and project information (findings of facts, analysis of claims, and reviews of plans, specifications, logs, and inspection records, etc.), management of dredge material borrow sites, placement sites, and other project information, conducting data reviews (quality assurance), and routine data reporting and monitoring tasks for existing and future projects. Responsibilities: Conduct weekly QA reviews and coordinate/document data issues and their resolution (material misplacement, non-transmissions, erroneous data, unknown data, back up data/data gaps, etc.) Attend and actively participate in team/program meetings. Routinely correspond with DQM staff, partners, and customers regarding dredging projects and automated dredge monitoring data. Manage DQM User account access and permissions (as needed). Provide responses to and address customer inquiries in a timely fashion (emails, meetings, phone calls, etc.). Maintain DQM records for project consistency (activate/deactivate plants, populate job information, etc.). Qualifications: A BA/S and an additional one to three (1-3) years' experience. Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and interpersonal skills are imperative. Multitasking, good judgment, and the ability to work both alone and as part of a team are required. Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time. Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically. Security Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
