Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a
Chief of Pediatric Urology
to lead our team in Jacksonville, Florida. The
Chief of Pediatric Urology
will oversee clinical practice, strategic growth, and academic pursuits at Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville, and manage inpatient services at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. The Chief will lead a well-established, busy practice and collaborate with Mayo Clinic and the University of Florida to work with their Urology Residents. The Division of Urology serves over 2 million people and offers comprehensive pediatric urology care, with opportunities for leadership in expanding Nemours Urology to meet regional needs. The division includes a staffed continence clinic overseen by the Chief of Urology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the division's strategic, operational, and administrative functions. The team comprises 2 full-time Pediatric Urologists, 3 dedicated APPs, and additional part-time support from 2 Pediatric Urologists serving as physician leaders. The Chief reports to the Chair of the Department of Surgery at NCH, Jacksonville. Our division is equipped with advanced tools, including a DaVinci robot, to support pediatric urology practice. Wolfson Children’s Hospital is the region’s top destination for premature and critically ill newborns, with a 70-bed Level IV NICU and the only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center locally. Our academic partner, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, offers faculty academic appointments aligned with their expertise.
