Hardware Systems Design Engineer
responsible for taking a complex PCB system design through the entire hardware development cycle including specification, schematics, PCB layout, bring-up, characterization and compliance testing. The ideal candidate will have a BSEE or higher with 12 years or more in this area. Candidate should have strong experience with high speed board design (25/50/100G SerDes) and also understand DC/DC technology as it is used on the complex PCB system’s substrate. We also need someone who understands Signal and Power Integrity issues; candidate should be able to use Cadence Allegro and XDX Designer. Additionally he/she should be aware of power integrity concepts including PDN design and transient response, as well as signal integrity concepts including crosstalk, BGA breakout, and insertion/return loss. We need someone with excellent people skills who can interface with PCB and PCBA suppliers, as well as OEMs and ODMs overseas. This individual will also be cross-functional working with multiple groups in design, layout, test, SI/PI, and packaging.
