Operate a commercial vehicle to transport product and/or materials to and from company and customers properties. Requires a valid Class A CDL driver's license. Education / Training: Class A CDL 2 years of verifiable driving experience Key Job Elements

Driving semi-truck mainly pulling roll-off or flatbed Securing freight to flatbed trailer with chains, binders, and straps Reading maps and planning trips Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment Completing driver's paperwork (logs, trip reports, DVIR's etc.) Scheduling maintenance of equipment with the shop Inspect motor vehicles Follow safety procedures for vehicle operation Inspect cargo to ensure it is properly loaded or secured Record operational or production data Report vehicle or equipment malfunctions Secure cargo Qualifications and Experience

Must be at least 25 years of age Must have a valid Class A CDL License with a good driving record Must have at least 2 years of recent OTR verifiable tractor trailer experience (Roll-Off or Flatbed preferred) Compliance with state and federal DOT rules and regulations Engaging personality with a stable work history Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and customers Attention to detail with driver's paperwork Prefer a current TWIC Be able to climb onto and down from the trailer Possess sufficient strength to tie down a load properly Essential and Physical Activities Functions: Strength - Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance, able to push and pull up to 150lbs, Possess sufficient strength to tie down a load properly Motion- Able to sit for long periods of time while driving, able to grip with hands, able to climb onto and down from the trailer Vision/Hearing Requirements - Driver would need to have the ability to read road signs and judge distances Work Environment - Able to drive long hours and work in all weather conditions Emotional Demands - Employee expected to make quick decisions, employee must be comfortable working alone Safety: This is a safety sensitive position as it requires to follow all State and Federal DOT regulations. Position is safety sensitive, as it requires working in and around live tracks and operation and repair of heavy equipment.
