AWS Senior Cloud Application Developer Location- Remote (East Coast Preferred) Clearance- Public Trust Salary- 145k-155k/yr The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the positions responsibilities; the candidates experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions. This program requires US Citizenship Cloud Applications Developer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS. This role blends software engineering expertise with cloud infrastructure mastery and DevOps best practices. Qualifications & Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

4+ years of professional software development experience

Strong proficiency in Python or Java

Hands-on experience with AWS services:

Amazon S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, RDS, CloudWatch

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation

Proficient in Git for version control

Technical Requirements Proven experience building cloud-native applications

Familiarity with serverless and microservices architecture patterns

RESTful API design and integration

CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance

Containerization using Docker

AWS-specific expertise:

AWS SDK implementation

IAM roles and permissions management

AWS CLI usage

Security best practices

Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework

Roles & Responsibilities As a senior contributor, youll play a pivotal role in shaping AWS initiatives across multiple projects: Build and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using AWS

Apply serverless and microservices patterns for flexibility and performance

Design and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external use

Engineer cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and/or Azure

Develop self-service cloud provisioning tools (e.g., service catalogs, workflows)

Integrate with data lake and data warehouse environments

Communicate technical strategies to senior and executive leadership

Stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies and trends

Implement secure applications using AWS SDK

Configure IAM roles and policies for least-privilege access

Ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments

Use AWS CLI and automation tools for efficient operations

Manage containerized workloads with Docker and orchestration platforms (ECS, EKS)

Collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions

Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability

Continuously improve solutions by adopting new AWS services and best practices
