Backend Engineer – LATAM & NAMER Only

We’re looking for a
Backend Engineer
to help build our internal CRM and other critical tools that power our global operations. You’ll design and maintain modern APIs, scalable infrastructure, and reliable backend services. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers while contributing to features from implementation through deployment — all within a team that values clean code, operational excellence, and continuous learning. What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain backend features using best practices
Build RESTful APIs for core business logic and data management
Write clean, testable code with proper error handling and logging
Manage PostgreSQL databases (queries, migrations, performance tuning)
Implement integrations with third-party services (email, SMS, payments)
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design
Monitor and debug production issues using Sentry and logging tools
Work with Docker and AWS services under guidance from senior engineers
Contribute to infrastructure improvements and deployment pipelines

What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of backend development experience in Python Hands-on with Flask, FastAPI, or Django frameworks Strong PostgreSQL skills (queries, indexes, migrations) Familiarity with async task processing (Celery, RQ, etc.) Understanding of RESTful API design Basic experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and ask questions proactively Nice to Have
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
Containerization/orchestration (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes)
Monitoring and observability tools
Experience with AI/ML or LLM APIs
Multi-tenant application design
