Oversee day-to-day operations, supervise staff, interact with guests to ensure quality service, ensure compliance with established procedures, handle guest complaints, and respond to emergencies. Address guest complaints effectively, conduct research, negotiate results professionally, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Monitor all departments to ensure procedures are followed, coordinate problem-solving efforts, utilize computer systems for information access, and perform physical activities as required. Inspect the hotel's physical appearance regularly, report safety hazards, and maintain safety standards. Respond calmly and effectively to hotel emergencies, knowing all emergency procedures and contacts. Handle noise complaints, credit issues, employee conflicts, guest relocations, and security matters diplomatically. Manage a section of the Front Office, including scheduling, training, disciplinary actions, and performance reviews. Greet guests, perform check-in/check-out, and handle cashiering procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager or Assistant Manager. Other Duties:

Maintain regular attendance, comply with hotel rules and regulations, set up room service, and ensure proper service standards. Working Conditions:

Work indoors and outdoors, handle pressure, maintain grooming standards, multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Work Hours:

Varying shifts, including mornings, mid-days, nights, and extended hours based on operational needs. Equipment Use:

Use various software and office equipment proficiently, including Opera, Microsoft Office, and others. Mental and Physical Demands:

Work under pressure, stand for long periods, lift up to 35 lbs., and move throughout the hotel. Communication Demands:

Effectively communicate with guests and staff, demonstrate patience and diplomacy, and possibly speak additional languages such as Japanese. Qualifications include at least three years of hotel guest services experience, supervisory experience preferred, valid TB clearance, Hawaii Liquor Card, a clean driver’s abstract, and experience driving various vehicles.
