As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will work on building intelligent systems to democratize AI across a wide range of solutions within Apple. You will drive the development and deployment of innovative AI models and systems that directly impact the capabilities and performance of Apple’s products and services. Your responsibilities include implementing robust, scalable ML infrastructure, developing novel feature engineering, data augmentation, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning frameworks, designing automated ML pipelines, and optimizing language models for resource efficiency. There are significant opportunities to make impactful contributions to Apple. Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, including feature engineering, model training, serving, monitoring, and refresh management. Experience developing AI/ML systems at scale in production or high-impact research settings. Passion for computer vision, natural language processing, especially in LLMs and Generative AI. Knowledge of frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in anomaly detection, forecasting, and related methodologies. Proficiency in Python and SQL. Strong software engineering skills, including testing, code reviews, and deployment. Experience with transformer models like BERT, GPT, and understanding of their principles. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Superset, Streamlit, Tableau, Business Objects, and Looker. Apple offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $143,100 to $264,200, dependent on skills and experience.
