QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a valid Oregon School Bus Driver's Certificate. Valid First Aid card. Hold a minimum Class C Operator Training Certificate for dispensing fuel on site. High school or GED certificate. Ability to service school buses and vans with fuel, oil, water, and air. Ability to keep written records of fuel and oil for vehicles and equipment. Will serve as a school bus driver when needed and must meet all requirements needed for such. Knowledge to perform routine servicing of school buses and minor mechanical repairs when required. Other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.
Upon selection, employees will be required to pay for the following: $12.50 fingerprinting fee and $70 ODE fingerprinting processing fee. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$18.39-$26.56 per hour (2025-2026 pay rates contingent on ratification and School Board approval). Dependent on approved accepted experience/education. Annual COLA pay increase (as negotiated with Oregon Association of Classified Employees) Annual step pay increase awarded to eligible employees 6 paid holidays per year 2 personal days per year 10 paid sick leave days per year Bereavement leave, as per bargaining agreement Continuing Education Funds, up to $1,200 per year (contingent on ratification and School Board approval). Up to $1,576 per month district-paid contribution toward full-family medical, dental, and vision insurance (contingent on ratification and School Board approval). $4,402 per year insurance opt-out stipend for employees who demonstrate other health insurance coverage under a qualifying employer sponsored group medical plan (more than 6-hour employees), $3,961.80 (4-6-hour employees), contingent on ratification and School Board approval. 6% employee paid contribution towards Oregon Public Employees Retirement System Longevity Service Stipend after 10 years of employment ($1,000-$1,600), contingent on ratification and School Board approval.
