New Business Development or Hunter Individual Contributor role

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience (at least 5 in large outsourcing situations) as a Farmer in the chosen market. He/ She should possess demonstrable experience in identifying and closing complex, multi-million dollar technology outsourcing contracts. He/she should be capable of selling at a C-level and developing sponsorship to drive deal closure. The Business Development Executive develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of all facets of the business development process, along with demonstrating strong financial, business, and industry insights and consultative selling skills that can be applied to opportunities across the business unit.

Role Responsibility:

  • Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition
  • Identifying sales and services that would appeal to clients
  • Managing company and client expectations
  • Create strategic roadmap to drive growth within the account/portfolio and execute that plan to drive incremental revenue, manage customer negotiations, driving pricing discussions, etc
  • Must have sold --Cybersecurity /Digital /Application/IOT/Engineering products and services
  • Engage with horizontal and solution teams to proactively identify improvement/opportunity areas – sell cross business unit solutions to the client
  • Expand HCLs footprint come up with creative solutions that help solve business problem
  • 7-19+ years’ experience in selling and leading complex and transformation programs
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
  • Proven record of rapidly scaling up revenues consistently and Y-o-Y growth
  • Track record of interacting and building relationship with C-level client contacts
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple activities in a very dynamic, changing environment
  • Account financial management, lead generation and ensuring CSAT
  • Sold service to : Retail / CPG vertical or clients.
  • Ability to collaborate and negotiate with team members and other HCL resources to define approaches and strategies to meet customer requirements and develop win / win solutions to specific tactical project problems and issues.
  • Plan and engage in substantive dialogues and very complex negotiations between HCL management, client management and other parties which meet business requirements and often result in long-term agreements and commitments.
  • Anticipate, recognize and address very complex problems relating to the business development discipline, client opportunities, and business unit measurements and business development metrics.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field with MBA or Master's in the technical area being highly desirable or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • English: Strong written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop compelling proposals and business plans
  • Readiness to travel of over 50% or more.
