The Associate Director, Quality Assurance, is responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of global Research and Development (R&D) Quality functions, with a strong emphasis on ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and related regulatory requirements. This individual will guide the planning, execution, and monitoring of quality activities across all stages of the product development lifecycle.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Providing direction on product development and design control activities
Overseeing verification and validation testing, managing technology transfers into manufacturing, and driving risk management strategies.
The role also encompasses ensuring appropriate usability assessments, monitoring design change control processes, and maintaining high standards of documentation to support regulatory submissions and inspections.
Serving as a central liaison, this leader will coordinate across diverse R&D functions and partner closely with Quality Operations to promote global alignment, consistency, and adherence to industry best practices.
The position requires a balance of technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and leadership capabilities to guide teams in achieving both innovation and compliance objectives.
