The selected applicant will serve as part of a team of Geographic Information System (GIS) developers who deliver geospatial solutions at an enterprise level.
The selected applicant should possess an excellent working knowledge of programming with Python, JavaScript, and other languages. The applicant will be responsible for creating geospatial web and scripting applications within the ESRI stack. Responsibilities include developing custom widgets, geoprocessing services, ETL processes, and integrations across different software and platforms. The applicant will also manage enterprise geodatabases, database servers, web servers, and other cloud-based infrastructure. They must demonstrate the ability to plan, test, install, implement, and support these solutions, as well as provide documentation. Coding samples should be provided.
Additional duties involve gathering complete business requirements, gaining approval before proceeding, maintaining a backlog of requests, and assisting in prioritization and planning. Proper time and resource management are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates should be comfortable using all aspects of ArcGIS Enterprise, as well as Amazon and Azure cloud products. Strong written and oral communication skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively in various settings with individuals, groups, and inter- and intra-agency teams. Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and transportation planning principles is preferred.
Software/Skills Requirements:
- ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise/Server > 10.9.1
- ESRI ArcGIS Pro > 2.9
- Other ESRI products (LRS, Workflow Manager, Image Server, Reality, Velocity, Monitor, GeoEvent)
- Experience managing ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, etc.) in a cloud environment
- Application and database development
- Data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, Voyager, web maps, dashboards)
- Automation tools (FME, VertiGIS Studio, Python, Geoprocessing, SQL)
- Familiarity with running/training machine learning (AI/ML) models
- Web frameworks and programming (Javascript, HTML, CSS, PHP, .NET)
