We serve clients with diverse needs, offering individualized services rooted in dignity, empowerment, and respect.Position SummaryThe Clinical Director is responsible for the overall clinical direction, supervision, and quality assurance of behavioral health services delivered within Miracle Houses Inc.'s residential programs in North Carolina. This leadership role ensures all clinical operations align with state regulations, licensing standards, and best practices in behavioral healthcare. The Clinical Director also supervises clinical staff and collaborates with the leadership team to maintain a therapeutic and compliant treatment environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and ensure the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of all clinical services within the residential program.Provide clinical supervision to licensed and unlicensed staff, including therapists, case managers, and paraprofessionals.Develop, review, and approve treatment plans, clinical documentation, and assessments to ensure compliance with NC DHHS and Medicaid standards.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state licensing requirements and oversee program adherence to all applicable regulations.Conduct regular audits of clinical records and provide corrective action plans where necessary.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, intake reviews, and service planning.Support the development and implementation of crisis intervention, safety planning, and trauma-informed care strategies.Serve as a liaison with external agencies, referral sources, and funding bodies as needed.Train and mentor clinical staff on evidence-based practices, documentation standards, and ethical guidelines.Collaborate with administrative leadership to align clinical services with organizational goals and strategic plans.Assist with program development and expansion, including clinical protocols, service models, and grant proposals as needed.QualificationsMaster's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required.Must hold current and active North Carolina licensure as an LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT. LCAS or other credentials are a plus.A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health, residential, or community-based setting.At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a behavioral health environment.Strong knowledge of North Carolina mental health regulations, Medicaid service definitions, and clinical documentation standards.Experience with trauma-informed care, person-centered planning, and recovery-oriented systems of care.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with both clinical and administrative teams.Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with high-acuity populations or enhanced-level services.Familiarity with NC Tracks, Tailored Plans, and MCOs (e.g., Alliance Health, Vaya Health).Certification as a Clinical Supervisor (LCMHC-S or LCSW-S) preferred or willingness to pursue.Work EnvironmentOffice and residential treatment setting.Occasional travel between program sites and for community outreach or training.May require participation in crisis response and on-call clinical rotation.Why Join Miracle Houses Inc?At Miracle Houses Inc., you'll be part of a purpose-driven team committed to restoring hope and stability in the lives of those we serve.
