The Inventory position will be responsible for tracking goods and supplies in the store.
Essential Duties and Other Responsibilities Conduct daily inventory duties.
Complete cycle counts (scheduled and daily). Process purchasing orders as required. Track orders and investigate problems. Record purchases, maintain data base, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports. Receive, unpack, and deliver goods. Restock items and label shelves as necessary. Process and document return as required following established procedures.
Manage negative reports and perform defective assistance. Maintain daily defective spreadsheet. Assist store or inventory manager in devising new ways to reduce, shrink, and maintain inventory control. Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality. Comply with company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional customer service. Proficient computer skills. Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork. Knowledge of store procedures and proper use of equipment. Excellent communication and time management skills. The ability to act honestly and ethically. The ability to remain calm and react effectively in busy or high-stress situations. The ability to manage and initiate price events and price changes.
