Candidates must have a Virginia State License or temporary license. ARRT certification is required. BLS certification is mandatory. One year of experience is needed. Skills in IV starts, PACS, and contrast administration are essential. Work experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, adult ICU, and Level 2 Trauma settings is required. CT experience should include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction. First-time travelers are accepted. There will be a rotation for on-call and holiday duties. Daily caseload is approximately 110. Responsible for providing care to adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The unit has a high volume of CT orders, especially related to trauma. The team includes one technologist per scanner, along with radiology assistants and transporters. A commitment to complete all necessary certifications prior to the start date is expected. Travelers must complete training modules within a specified time frame after signing.
