Position Overview
As the ED Nurse Manager, you will shape the future of emergency care while leading a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This role combines clinical expertise with strategic leadership to ensure outstanding patient outcomes and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Direct operational oversight of two Emergency Departments
Lead and mentor clinical staff, including Hospital Clinical Leaders
Oversee the Medic 55 ALS Program
Implement quality improvement initiatives and best practices
Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation
Drive patient satisfaction and safety metrics
Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing or related field Current New York State RN license 3-4 years RN experience with 18+ months in Emergency Department BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications Strong leadership and communication skills Proven project management abilities Preferred Qualifications
Emergency Nursing Certification Prior management experience Meditech and Microsoft Office proficiency TNCC certification Why Join Us?
