System Engineer Level 4
with cyber knowledge and experience to support a system throughout its life cycle (from Concept to Sunset). The development, testing, and maintenance of Cryptologic Knowledge Solutions for analysis and applications for specific projects are essential. This position involves researching, designing, implementing, and testing system solutions. Responsibilities and Duties Develop applications, services, and components for specific products, including design, development, testing, validation of security and policy compliance, debugging, documentation, deployment, and maintenance in accordance with ISO/IEC 15288 System Lifecycle processes. Generate and maintain technical documentation for each service and solution developed to support development and outreach activities. Ensure all processes conform to Section 508 requirements for developing, procuring, and maintaining electronic and information technology products and systems. Manipulate large data sets and queries for existing or proposed databases. Provide requirement analysis and synthesis from system to component level. Work with Real-Time Systems and Business Management Information Systems. Resolve system issues and problem reports, modifying existing requirements and designs to accommodate new hardware/software or improve performance. Assess design and implementation trade-offs between hardware vs. software solutions, and new development vs. COTS/GOTS options. Contribute as a team member to address analytics, knowledge management, information access/management, and cyber/threat analysis. Design, implement, and test complex algorithms with strict timing requirements, ensuring quality through development, configuration management, testing, and validation processes. Use scientific analysis and mathematical modeling to predict performance and consequences of designs. Lead development teams to ensure work meets project requirements and processes. Coordinate with IPTs to develop designs addressing performance and cyber requirements. Assist in developing and executing test procedures. Maintain configuration management of relevant data and materials. Required Experience Bachelor of Science in System Engineering or STEM degree, with 10+ years of relevant experience (considering a combination of education and experience). Active TS/SCI clearance with full Polygraph. Solid knowledge of System Lifecycle processes (ISO/IEC 15288). Experience managing technical project aspects including Risk Management, Configuration Management, Interface Management (ICDs), and Technical Data Management. Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments. Experience leading teams in analyzing complex problems and evaluating solutions. Experience developing and leading system lifecycle solutions that meet customer requirements. Effective in cross-functional team environments, developing solutions, and addressing system performance issues. Experience developing and leading system validation test approaches. Experience leading multiple engineering teams in development and validation efforts.
